After some great years at integral-learning I left the company at the end of February to achieve some new personal and professional horizons. From that moment I'm offering software development and project management on contractual basis as freelancer with the main focus on PHP development and related topics like backend and frontend development, databases, continuous delivery, testing, devops and consulting for development projects.

From the start of 2013 I took over the management of the company and shared this role together with the first managing partner. In addition, it was my responsibility to lead the architectural and technical development of the core product. Altogether a very challenging but interesting job at the same time.

The company provides a wide range of services based on the core product, an e-learning platform and courses, for universities and students. My core tasks were to design and implement new features and operation of various customer installations. The 2nd pillar of integral-learning are software development projects, where I was almost always involved in and filled different roles and responsibilities. More detailed examples of this projects will follow very soon here.

Working for proXcel I was mainly responsible for developing a in-house ERP software at one of the biggest supplier of Volkswagen AG. Starting with requirement analysis, defining features and enhancement up to implementing them in GWT and traditional frontend technologies. Furthermore, I have developed a PHP based project management tool used by the company itself to maintain employer resources, customer projects and manage accounting. Beside this my task was to take care of the software and infrastructure used by the company.

At a very early age I realized my interest in computers and how the things behind the scenes works. This excitement remained until my high school graduation, so I decided to study computer science and followed my passion. Additionally I complemented my studies with business economics to prepare myself for a wide range of possibilities. As I can say for now, it was one of the best decisions I made so far.
